Project Management and Contract Administration
The American School in London
TGA provided full project management and contract administration services for the phased refurbishment of the School’s science facilities.
The project included conversion of former art studios into new middle school accommodation, incorporating a multi-use ‘maker space’ facility for student projects including robotics and 3D printing.
Challenges included contractor access and working within the middle floor of the School’s main building, including accommodating noisy works around high school exams held within the adjacent sports hall.
TGA worked closely with the School, architect, structural and services engineers to plan, programme, competitively tender and manage the project from inception to completion.
The above project led into the subsequent refurbishment of high school science, completed within a tight programme that limited works to the summer holiday period.
